Hey, you! So glad you made it.
Sometimes I work best in bullet points, so here’s some backstory that might be helpful:
I’ve been a mom for almost a decade. Sometimes I’m okay at it, sometimes I totally blow it, sometimes I actually nail it, and sometimes I write about it.
I went through a divorce while I was pregnant, making me a solo parent from day one, and sometimes I write about that.
I’ve dated off and on in that decade. Sometimes it’s magic, sometimes it rips my heart right out, and sometimes I write about it.
I built an online business from nothing. It was my whole life for that same decade, now I’m kinda walking away from it (kinda), and sometimes I write about it.
I grew up in the Bible belt. As an adult, it can feel nostalgic and comforting, but also triggering and infuriating, and sometimes I write about it.
I go to yoga, I make pottery, I had an old dog once, I wrote a book a few years ago, I like to garden, I work in marketing, I listen to Taylor Swift, this is starting to feel like a dating profile, and I hate those. Sometimes I write about all that.
A big part of me thinks, who the hell cares what I have to say, but I think I’m just gonna keep writing anyway.
